Okay, let's blog! (:
The past week has been such a long and tiring week! Thank god that we have so many people in committee, if not we'd have suffered a lot more, man.. >.<
One week of planning, brain-wrecking and having to go out early in the morning and coming back at night was super energy-draining.
But look at the farewell this evening, i think it was worth all the troubles and all my sleeping hours of the week. haha
I think, having been taught choral music by a conductor like Mr Low is one of the nicest things that has happened to CSS choir. (:
A conductor who never fails to try putting up a smile for the choir whenever we're at our worst moments. Even though many things may have changed from 2005 to 2007, you've always been with us, trying to give the best for us and always having great expectations from us, which, in other words, means that you've never once given up on us..
That, to me, is the best motivation that anyone can give to someone else.
Though there were times when you weren't very happy with the choir because we just couldn't reach the expectations, we know that you were, perhaps, just helpless because we dont seem to be improving..
But i just want you to know, and probably most of the other choir members too, that we've NEVER once blamed you. In fact, that has even motivated some of the choir members to work even harder. (:
Since you're gonna be overseas for almost 3 whole years, then i really hope that you'll be bringing along with you good memories of the CSS choir and forgetting all the bad ones, and also, visiting us when you have the time!
We'll try our best to stretch the choir to their limits.
Farewell, Mr Low. <3
AHHHH. Done.
Now i really feel like crying, all over again. ):
Okay. I know some you weren't very happy about the games session in the morning, and maybe even pissed off by the miscommunications.
We're very sorry for that, and we're not gonna give ourselves excuses like, say, ' You all have to understand that we're still new.. '
No, we're not doing that.
The current com still has a lot more to learn. One of which is to be more organised.
True, we spent one week planning on the schedule and everything else, but there were many times when we digressed and just totally forgot about the main thing that we're supposed to be discussing on..
I think that is a very bad way of doing things.
So what i'm trying to say here is, sorry for whatever unhappiness caused in the morning, and we will try not to ever repeat this kind of mistake again. haha (:
I LOVE YOU, MR LOW!
